I'll read the next two books on the Pyramid, no doubt.Īnother of the many theories as to the origins of the pyramids Just another take along with many over the years of what the mysteries of Giza could mean. The one thing I'll walk away with from my first read through is that whoever built the Great Pyramid must have had an intricate knowledge (however obtained)to be able to encode mathematical, physical and astronomical constants (ie, Pi, exact # of days in the solar year to 6 significant digits, Plank's Constant and the distance to the sun)in the dimensions of the pyramid itself. That being said, the 'weapon hypothesis' is quite interesting and Farrell lays out his reasoning based on current evidence and lays out what we would expect to find in future discoveries to corroborate his theory. I will probably re-read the entire book at some point as well. This is dense work, no doubt, some chapters I re-read several times to grasp what was being presented. Very interesting book, saw starting here as integral to Farrell's work regarding 'paleo-physics' and his alternative history after it was heavily referenced in the introduction to 'Genes, Giants, Monsters and Men'.
